`The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered` is amazing and well worth the 20's of hours that it can easily fill per character. If you roleplay a character focused on just one major questline then you can work through Mage, Fighter, Thief, Crusader, Assassin, Arena Champion. Each of those playthroughs could provide 10+ hours of play time, have little overlap in content or play style. Or just take one character to do everything everywhere all at once
A lot of quality of life improvements and modernized game design elements were added to clean up rough edges which keep it from controlling and feeling like 2006. Bethesda jank was maintained so it does still feel like TES:IV, which is where the nostalgia might me really impacting how it comes across for me.
